Jingle Bells

Jesse and Trish--Christmas Day

Kari, Trish, & Shana--Christmas Eve
Jesse, Adam, & Kyal--Christmas Eve (playing Santa, putting Aiden's toys together)

SO, this year our Christmas was a little different that usual. For a couple of different reasons. One reason being that we actually saw one another this Christmas. It was honestly the first Christmas we have actually gotten to spend together out of the last 4 years that we have been either together or married. So, for that, we were thankful. But it just doesn't feel the same when you know that you are an ocean apart, and not to mention, on a completely different continent than the rest of your family. Our favorite part about Christmas is spending it with family, which neither one of us has gotten to do for at least the past 3 years because of work or something else that came up. So, we're hoping to make it over and see family for the holidays next year.
Christmas Eve, Jesse and I went over to Adam and Kari's house with another couple and hung out after the Christmas Eve church service. We all opened one present and ate entirely too much junk food. We then, or I should say, all the guys, starting putting Aiden's "Santa" toys together to help out Adam and Kari. All in all it was a pretty great night.
Christmas Day, Jesse and I made this a lazy day for the most part. We opened the rest of our presents together and then just relaxed until it was time to go over to a friend's house for Christmas dinner. Jesse got to hang out with some of his friends from work for a little while after dinner, so that gave me the chance to catch up with family and friends without taking time away from us being together.

Hope everybody had a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and has a wonderful and HAPPY NEW YEAR!
