We try to make an effort to do as much as we can and to get out and see things. We both know that these 3 years here will most likely fly by and hopefully when it comes time to go we will have gotten the opportunity to do and see everything we wanted....that list is long!
We have probably made about 6 or 7 trips to Catania so far. Here are a couple of pictures from a couple other evenings out on the town at dinner of Jesse and me.

Jesse and Trish at a bistro in Catania. The waiter especially liked Jesse because he made an effort to speak Italian. He ordered for us that evening. The Italians LOVE that. If you so much as attempt to speak, they will pretty much help you do anything. Anyways, the waiter brought us complimentary pistachio flavored lemonchello to try. It was interesting and actually pretty good.

Jesse and Trish at a wine and grill. The food here was fantastic. =] The waitress here brought us out complimentary prickly pears for dessert. Prickly pears are amazing, but a bit different...seedy. Whatever you do, DON'T spit out the seeds, just keep chompin'. We were told during our indoc class that if you spit out the seeds, it's considered very rude. Needless to say, we will definitely be going back again soon.
